EEA Terms & Conditions
By registering for a Course or Program with EEA, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions detailed below:

FULL Payment for all EEA Courses, Programs and Qualifications is expected prior to commencement, unless prior arrangements are made.

Upon the issue of a Confirmation of Registration email by EEA, you understand that you are liable for the course fees specified at time of registration.
EEA Public Short Course Cancellation and Transfer Conditions;
EEA 1 day, 2 day and 5 day courses, including Master Classes and others
6 to 15 working days prior to confirmed course commencement

Cancellation - refund of course fee less admin fee of 20% of the full, non-EA Membership course fee (inc GST)

Transfer to another EEA course - admin fee of 20% of the full, non-EA Membership course fee (inc GST) is payable in addition to the course fee
5 or less working days prior to confirmed course commencement

Cancellation - no refund of course fee, full course fee still payable to EEA
-
No transfers allowed, however substitutions may be permissible and must be submitted to EEA in writing.

Requests for cancellations, transfers and substitutions must be received by EEA in writing via email, fax or letter prior to course commencement for consideration.

If the registered participant does not attend the course and no proof of advice of non-attendance is received by EEA prior to course commencement, the full course fee will still be payable to EEA.
EEA Public Program Cancellation and Transfer Conditions;
Including Graduate Program in Engineering, Diploma of Project Management (Full Program), Engineering Leadership Residential, Construction Management Series, ECC Writing Workshop Series and others
11 to 21 working days prior to commencement of the confirmed Program/First Module

Cancellation - refund of course fee less admin fee of 20% of the full, non-EA Membership course fee (inc GST)
10 or less working days prior to commencement of the confirmed Program/First Module

Cancellation - no refund of course fee, full course fee still payable to EEA
Once Program/First Module has commenced

Please Note

Transfers to alternative Modules are only available for the Diploma of Project Management (Full Program) and must be submitted to EEA in writing via email, fax or letter prior to course commencement for consideration. Transfers will only be allowed provided there is an alternate date and space available in the requested location, and are subject to the conditions stated for EEA Public Short Courses.

Transfers to alternative Modules are not available for other EEA Public Programs. Substitutions for individual modules may be permissible on selected Programs, and need to be submitted to EEA in writing via email, fax or letter prior to commencement.

If a participant does not attend all or part of the program they are registered for and does not advise EEA in writing of non-attendance prior to course commencement, the full course fee will still be payable to EEA.

Partial refunds will not be offered if a participant does not attend a session for the Program they are registered for.
EEA Online Course Cancellation and Transfer Conditions;
Including Diploma of Project Management (Online), Online Training on Design of Photovoltaic Systems, Persuasive Tender/Proposal Writing Master Class and others

Access to the Online environment will not be provided until payment of the FULL course fee is confirmed.

Cancellations, transfers and substitutions cannot be accepted for registrations involving Online Programs once the course materials have been issued to the participant and/or the Program has commenced.
EEA Government Funded Program Conditions;
Including the Diploma of Project Management (Full Program) and the Diploma of Project Management (Online) and others
Cancellations, transfers and substitutions cannot be accepted for registrations involving Government Funding. For additional details, please see Organisation obligations as detailed below.
Organisation obligations for delivery of NWDF training to its employees

Provide the full fee for the qualification at the time of enrolment, the government contribution amount will be reimbursed to the employer at points designated in the Employer Contract

Ensure that each employee completes the required Enrolment Form, Privacy Form and the Proof of Identity for the delivery of the qualification and or skills set within the given timeframe.

To provide staff with the time to undertake the training and put together their assessment portfolio.
-
Provide active encouragement to complete the training and undertake assessment.
-
Ensure that the RTO has reasonable access to the employees to undertake and successfully complete the qualification; and
-
Notify the Registered Training Organisation and Association immediately if the employee is unable to undertake the qualification. In this instance a Withdrawal Form must be completed by any student who will not be completing studies. These can be requested from EEA.

Ensure that staff are progressing through their training and assessment within the given timeframes.

To be responsible for the government subsidy portion of the fees should staff fail to complete the training and submit for assessment including when there is:

A failure of a staff member to complete the training will make you liable for 70% of the government subsidy as EEA will be no longer eligible to receive this payment from the government.

A failure of a staff member to submit for assessment after having completed the training will make you liable for 30% of the government subsidy as EEA will be no longer eligible to receive this payment from the government.
EEA InHouse Professional Development Course Cancellation Conditions;
In the event that a confirmed InHouse course is cancelled by the client, any unrecoverable fees eg. fees passed onto to EEA by a third party such as travel and accommodation cancellation fees, will be passed on to the client.
Please Note for all courses

Only one transfer request is allowed per participant, per course.

All requests for cancellations, transfers and substitutions must be received by EEA in writing via email, fax or letter prior to the course or program commencement date.

Personal extenuating circumstances such as illness or accidents will be sympathetically considered; evidence such as medical certificates may be requested as proof of non-attendance.

If EEA cancels a course due to insufficient registrations or other circumstances beyond its control, alternate dates will be offered where possible. A full refund of the course fee only (excluding any merchant fees or credit card surcharges) will be provided to paid participants if they are unable to attend an alternate date.

EEA recommends participants postpone making travel or accommodation arrangements until after they have received the Course CONFIRMATION email. EEA will not be held responsible for any fees incurred by the participant in the event of EEA cancelling an unconfirmed course.

The EA Member Discount of 10% only applies on selected courses when an individual supplies their EA Member Number when registering for a course; the discount will not apply if a Company’s PDP Number is provided.
