Offering Work Placements for Engineering Transition Programs

Provide Work Experience for International Engineers

One of the many ways that Engineers Australia are supporting the challenge of Engineering 'skills shortages' in Australia is via the Engineering Education Australia transition programs:

  • Professional Year in Engineering is designed for international graduates
  • Transition Program for Experienced International Engineers
  • Experience Engineering in Australia program.

Integral to the success of both these programs is a (minimum) 12-week unpaid work experience in the engineer’s discipline. Engineering Education Australia is seeking support and commitment from within the Australian engineering industry to help address the skills shortage with work experience positions.
