The Experienced Engineers Program: Skills on Hand, Career in View
Are you an experienced engineer seeking Chartered Status, Registration (eg RPEQ), and career progression?
The Experienced Engineers Program is a structured, detailed and practical program specifically for engineers with five or more years of experience who are seeking Chartered Status, Registration (eg RPEQ) and career consolidation. It is delivered over a six month period, within a simple and compact five x one-day workshp format, supporting online resuorces and the unique opportunity for participants to complete their application for Chartered Status and/or Registration by the end of the program.
The Experienced Engineers Program is delivered by Engineering Education Australia (EEA) on behalf of Engineers Australia and is recognised for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in accordance with EA CPD Guidelines.

Workshop 1 - Career Planning

Skills on Hand: Individual self-assessment analysis against the Engineers Australia Stage 2 and Stage 3 Engineering Competencies in order to update your CV to a more competency focused document. You can then prepare a professional development plan based on the individual self-assessment.

Career in View: Career planning skills, recording achievements, differentiating, and articulating your 'value proposition'

Individual goals and objectives will also be set at this first workshop.
Workshop 2 - Transitioning from Manager to Leader
The transition from manager to leader often occurs with no, or very few, formalised training programs in the new skill sets required. This workshop provides a leadership coach’s guide to moving from technical excellence to leadership excellence.
