Purpose
Engineering Education Australia (EEA) is a wholly owned, not-for-profit subsidiary of Engineers Australia.
EEA's aim is to deliver/broker courses and related services to:
- support Engineers Australia's initiatives in areas such as Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Professional Development Programs (PDPs), Chartered Status, and career development; and
- maximise cost-effective learning opportunities for Engineers Australia members and other individuals and organisations in engineering and related fields.
In meeting its main aim above, EEA assists individuals and organisations to be successful.
Operating since 1989, EEA offers an ever increasing range of education and training courses and services. These currently include:
- an "Engineered" MBA with Deakin University
- an Annual Handbook of University Courses
- flexible-enrolment distance-education postgraduate units
- public and in-house face-to-face short courses
- a searchable online database of short courses
- a short courses based Diploma of Project Management
- online management tools and diagnostics
The constant introduction of new courses and services will continue to be a feature of EEA.
