Framed within the Australian National Competency Standards and aligned to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and customised specifically for Engineering Project Managers. This program provides flexibility for those who are in remote/regional locations or who prefer a blended approach to their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
These modules are integrated within a logical framework of Project management focus areas (as listed below). Hence the learner is educated in project management following the same intuitive pathway that real organisational projects follow from their begining until they are closed.
The estimated time to undertake the direct online learning content is 35-40 hours.
The course is however not designed to be completed in a week and includes supporting resources and references built into the program for extended study and reflection to be undertaken over a longer period.
On completion of the on-line learning content, participants will compile a portfolio of evidence and be assessed toward the Diploma of Project Management.

The total investment for this program is $2,950 and this includes the on-line program (and supporting resources) and assessment through EEA partner Swinburne University.
For group registrations or the incorporation of blended learning within your ogranisation please contact the EEA team oninfo@eeaust.com.au
The Diploma of Project Management (Online) gives an in depth coverage of all nine areas of Project management (scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement and integration).
It is targeted at Engineering Project Managers currently or soon to be managing projects from an end to end perspective.
Also suitable for experienced Engineering Project Managers looking for further Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and to achieve a nationally recognised Diploma of Project Management.

Each of the 20 modules is set up to ensure a combination of learning through audio, visual and practical learning exercises. Additional on-line support resources and references are also positioned throughout the program to ensure maximum learning.
Case studies, examples, and simulations are also included to ensure a highly interactive and engaging learning experience.

The Diploma of Project management is a competency based qualification at Australian Qualification Framework level 5 (AQF5).
Candidates are assessed against a national standard which reflects a 'best practice' standard in managing projects. This qualification is recognised nationally across all industry sectors as a significant benchmark in demonstrated capacity to both apply project management methodology and to manage projects across the project lifecycle.
The achievement of the nationally accredited Diploma of Project Management qualification is obtained via portfolio assessment through EEA partner Swinburne University.
The on-line training undertaken by participants will teach all of the underpinning knowledge and understanding, processes, tools and techniques to effectively manage projects in any work environment. This is also consistent with the AQF 5 for the Diploma of Project Management
By applying the on-line learning on 'real' projects back in the workplace, the documents produced will form the basis of the portfolio of evidence for the assessment. This way, participants will achieve a qualification via documents and evidence produced by performing their normal project activities.
This on-line training and assessment is fully supported by project management practiitioners (on-line course facilitators from EEA partner Project Management Development International) and expert qualified assessors (EEA partner Swinburne Industry Solutions).
Throughout the program there will be opportunities for participants to access on line tutorials to support the new theory that they have covered. A dedicated assessment support module will also demonstrate how to gather evidence in the workplace to achieve the Diploma of Project Management qualification.
