Workshop Series Outline for CER Writing
Workshop 1

Part of the day will be spent working on the fundamentals required for clear, well structured CERs

Some compulsory elements will be addressed as a group

Individual time for commencing the writing of a first CER
Workshop 2

Reviewing elements worked on in session 1 and at home

Selecting elective units

More compulsory elements addressed as a group

Individual time for working on these elements, incorporating them into the body of a first CER
Workshop 3

Reviewing elements worked on in session 2 and at home

More elements addressed as a group – over the 3 sessions, the compulsory units will be looked at in detail

Individual time for working on chosen elements that will produce a CER that is ready or almost ready, for submitting to EA
